One of the true pioneers of LED based XR/VP technology. Michael took part in winning multiple AV awards with London based integrators Whitelight, contributing to many prestigious and innovative projects. He has worked on broadcast and live events all over the world and brings this experience as VP supervisor and co-founder of Virtual Innovation Partners to the single largest LED volume in the Benelux.

Technical Director VIP

The technical wizard whose reputation on the global stage of video technology is widely acknowledged as one of the very best. From Eurovision to the Olympics, name a global event that has happened in the past 15 years and there’s every chance you will see his name on the credit list. As co-founder of Virtual Innovation Partners, Hans brings his vast knowledge and experience to the Virtual Production studio in Lint.

Sam is rapidly rising to the top of the Unreal Scene. As a partner and Content Supervisor in Virtual Innovation Partners, Sam is familiar with all aspects of real time content creation for Virtual Production and the workflows hold no secrets for him. With his experience in balancing visual content and technical functionality he’s the perfect man to propel VIP to the forefront of the Real Time Production Studios.

Hervé Verloes

Magic Loom

Hervé Verloes is the executive Director & Co-founder of Magic Loom Studio, as well as the director of the XR production at Poolpio, the immersive 3d content creation studio. With Magic Loom, one of the first virtual production studios in Belgium, dedicated to high end cinema industry, Hervé is breaking ground in the XR and VP industry and plays a huge part in making Magic Loom the largest optical motion capture studio in Belgium.

Benoit Facon

CEO Eurogrip

As a daily grip-equipment user and developer, Eurogrip quickly realised the need for Camera tracking in the rising world of Virtual Production. Together with his long time colleague Frank Brusselman they started development work in the field of broadcast and film camera tracking back in 2008 only to be awarded a Primetime Emmy Award © in 2022 for Stype Camera tracking tools. From broadcast studios and Stadium Events to Virtual Festivals, Eurogrip continues to be on the forefront of camera tracking solutions.

Maarten Francq

AI innovator RITCS

Seasoned in developing technical solutions for some of the largest live events in Broadcast and Entertainment, Maarten has developed a real taste for all things new and complicated. His groundbreaking work in the field of AR/XR and lately AI, make Maarten one of the very few who can find their way with ease in the complex matter that is Innovation. As Head of R&D at the RITCS, Maarten has the privilege to train and mould the young and brilliant creative minds that will break through in our Industry for years to come.

Renaat Lambeets is a well established name in the Belgian and international movie Industry. He enjoys both drama and documentary making. He has contributed to films as various as Whatever Lola wants by Nabil Ayouch (2007), No man is an Island by Tim de Keersmaecker (2015), Snake Dance by Manu Riche and Patrick Marnham (2012), and Any Way the Wind Blows by Tom Barman (2003).

Jonas Govaerts

Director, Writer, Musician

Acclaimed Director and creative centipede Jonas Govaerts is best known for his innovative style of directing on feature films as H4Z4RD and Cub (welp). He has also been the creative lead for dEUS’ music video ‘’ How to Replace it’’ which was partially shot in the VIP studio. He will be part of the panel discussion on February 9th and we’re so excited that he has found time in his busy schedule to come and take part in this event.

As senior producer for Mars Volume, London’s premier Virtual Production Facility, Lauren brings with her a invaluable insight in the workings of a VP studio. With extensive experience working as a senior producer on some of the world’s most complex productions, she has worked across a range of large-scale, high-profile projects both in the UK and across the Globe.

Damien Nieuborg

Writer, Director, Storyteller

Damien established himself as a storyteller and creator for interactive and innovative concepts for the gaming and broadcasting industry. As a director he’s been involved in both fiction and non-fictional shows and loves working on a wide scope of platforms. He will be taking part in our panel discussion about the intriguing world of Virtual Production and the way forward.

André Rittner

Business Development Manager EMEAI for OnSet Virtual Production, ARRI Solutions.

With his knowledge of planning, real-time media, software development, film and advertising production, he has been working for ARRI in the field of virtual production since 2016. In 2018, under his leadership, ARRI MEDIA received the “Best Audience Show” award for its realisation at the Paris Motor Show. André Rittner talks about the creative and economic potential of high-quality virtual production on set and ARRI’s latest technologies.
